Homework – Trumpet Express EP

Looks like September 20th is going to be a huge day for releases, a lot of stuff set to come out then, and this EP is no exception to the hype. Since Dutch duo Homework’s Fissa Tune EP on Exploited, people have been waiting for more, and this time it’s Jesse Rose’s Made To Play bringing it to you. It’s arguable whether this EP is better than Fissa Tune, but it’s still sounds great, Trumpet Express and The Rules of Hip in particular. Interestingly enough, The Rules of Hip is sampled from a 1959 comedy LP by Del Close and John Brent, which I’ve had for a while, called ‘How To Speak Hip’. Check it out here.

Here’s a free 192 of their last track Fissa Tune. (Direct Link)
