Money is Sweeter than Honey

Gnanmankoudji Horny Monster Mix house tech-house disco Laurent Garnier

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, it’s been a busy week, but I do have a few gems I picked up from BLOC. The first, a highlight of Laurent Garnier’s LBS live show, the second, a track that Joy Orbison played that took me a while to find, and the last I don’t quite remember who played, but it was written down in my phone, and I’m definitely happy it was. Enjoy.

Also, make sure to check the blog in the next few days, because I’ve an exclusive interview with Munchi coming up!

Laurent Garnier – Gnanmankoudji (Horny Monster Mix)

C.J. Bolland – Sugar Is Sweeter (Armand Van Helden Drum ‘N’ Bass Mix)

Aloe Blacc – I Need A Dollar (Tensnake Remix)

Cheese-Eating Surrender Monkeys

No Brain blog remix

After taking quite a long break from it, after hearing a bit too much, going back to French sounding stuff is a bit of a treat. Recently I’ve been veering more and more towards Berlin, but today I’m going back to Paris. (Not in real life). Knee Deep’s remix of Afro Medusa features often in my sets these days,  so here’s an original of there. Really nice French vibes. Also, have some classic French synth-y disco from Etienne de Crécy.

Knee Deep – Sweet Love

Etienne De Crécy – No Brain (Serge Santiago Remix)

Discsnow Inferno

I was reminded of this great classic 80s disco track by a friend who definitely doesn’t look like Gok Wan.

Chilly – For Your Love

Seeing as I was posting that Chilly track, I thought I might as well post some other old disco that I hadn’t posted before.

Bent – Always (Ashley Beedle’s Mahavishnu Remix)

Diskokaine – Hall of Shame (King of Kong Remix)
